The Department of Public Works and Highways in Caraga Region (DPWH-XIII) has completed the construction of 51 total number of public infrastructure projects regionwide.
DPWH-XIII Regional Director Pol M. Delos Santos announced the said accomplishment in the regional quarterly report which is consolidated from the Project and Contracts Management Application (PCMA) covering the infrastructure program implemented under calendar year 2016-2018 as Carry-Over Projects.
“These projects are part of the promise by the current administration, which are now enjoyed by our fellow Caraganons” he said, being proud to deliver the vital infrastructures for improvement of the economy and society of this region.
Among the biggest chunks of these projects are 15 road construction projects worth P 758,716,170.00; ten (10) multi-purpose building projects worth P 251,382,000.00; and three (3) flood control worth P 162,720,000.00.
Also included are four (4) slope protection projects totalled P 114,331,000.00; two (2) off-carriageway improvements worth P 89,000,000.00; one (1) bridge project worth P19,600,000.00; and 16 rainwater collectors worth P 3,281,000.00.
